Report on the phenomenon of the inability to view the JSME homepage from various browsers and how to resolve it
November 6, 2023.
Due to the upgrade of Microsoft Edge, you are unable to view the Society's website here as well.
The website management company has contacted us with a workaround that allows viewing from Google Chrome. The website service itself is operating normally, so please refer to the following information and change the settings.
<Google Chrome Settings Change
(1) Search display by using "chrome://flags" in Google Chrome's search URL.
(2) To the in-page search at the top of the page
Copy and paste "Allow SHA-1 server signatures in TLS.
(3) Change the setting of the searched item from "Default" to "Enabled", and click "Relaunch" at the bottom right of the bottom row of the page.
to view the information.
As for Microsoft Edge, we have not yet received any information from the HP management company regarding a workaround, etc. We would appreciate it if you could try the above workaround for Google Chrome or try accessing the site using another browser.

However, the website service itself is operating normally and can be viewed without any problems with browsers other than Chrome. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please use other browsers (Edge, Firefox, etc.) to access our website.
