Incorporation of General Incorporated Association
With the enforcement of the "Three Laws Related to the Reform of the Public Interest Incorporated Association System" on December 1, 2008, the Intermediate Incorporated Association Law was abolished, and the JSCPA became a "General Incorporated Association". Furthermore, the JSCPA has prepared Articles of Incorporation that meet the requirements as a general incorporated association with thorough non-profit status, and has completed the procedures to change its registration.
On April 1, 2009, we officially changed our name to "Japan Academy of Nursing Science" and began operating as a non-profit general incorporated association.
Incorporation as a Public Interest Incorporated Association
The Society intends to continue to maintain its position of trust and responsibility in the reform of public interest corporations, and to continue its activities with the aim of advancing nursing science, promoting the exchange of knowledge widely, and thereby contributing to the promotion of people's health and welfare. Based on this approach, the following items were approved at the 2009 Regular General Meeting of Members and the 29th General Meeting of the Society in order to obtain public interest certification.
