A model is not reality itself, but a type of reality abstracted and reconstructed, i.e., a conceptual representation of reality. It is also a method (device) for formulating and expressing the various elements of a phenomenon and their mutual relationships. Therefore, in the various stages of theory development, a nursing model is a clear presentation of the important concepts that constitute a theory and the relationships among these concepts, using language, diagrams, mathematical formulas, and so on.
There is still an ongoing meta-theoretical debate about the term nursing model. It should be noted, therefore, that there is not necessarily a unified view within the nursing community.
The nursing conceptual model is,nursinggoals, its beneficiaries, and others, nursingThe key elements and their relationships with respect to the model and according to the characteristics of the model.nursingIt provides an abstract but intellectual picture of the whole. It also provides a perspective or frame of reference for nursing phenomena and can lead to general guidelines for research, practice, education, and administration. The concepts and propositions (relationships among concepts) in such a conceptual model of nursing are more abstract and general than theories and cannot be directly observed or tested in the real world.
Currently, multiple nursing models have emerged and are being used in clinical practice, research, and education, and nursing models are also driving the development of nursing science.
