In establishing a partnership, it is assumed that there are two or more people who recognize each other as partners, and that there are issues, needs, and joint tasks to be addressed together (Takayama et al., 2016).
The concept of partnership is based on the idea of equalrelationship of mutual trustand mutual understanding, consensus building, mutual cooperation, and sharing (Takayama et al., 2016). Partnerships are based on a relationship of mutual respect and trust among equals (Munakata, 2005)(Hashiguchi, 2006)(Iwakami, 2013). And, there is a need for sufficientcommunication(Bidmead,2008) (Yasunaga et al.,2012), deepening mutual understanding including self-understanding and understanding of others (Gottieb et al.,2006) (Yoshida et al.,2013) (Asazawa,2013), finding common goals through discussion and negotiation (Gallant,2002), and consensus building. (Gallant,2002). The process of building partnerships includes working together toward a common goal (Yoshida et al., 2013) (Honda et al., 2012) (Imaizumi, 2014) and supporting each other (Okamoto et al., 2014). The process of partnership building involves mutual feelings (Asazawa, 2013) anddecision-making(Leopold et al.,1996), utilize each other's abilities (Gottieb et al.,2006) (Suzuki et al.,2009), and share and share the results of the outcomes (Gallant et al.,2002) (Yoshimoto, 2006). 2006).
Building or strengthening partnerships can bring out each other's abilities, increase feelings of self-confidence and self-affirmation, and improve satisfaction and quality of life through the achievement of common goals (Takayama et al., 2016).
