Social support includes professional as well as non-professional support and can be divided into two basic types of support. The first type is psychological support, which can range from emotional support to self-worth support. The second type is practical support, which includes direct assistance, information, material support, and financial support.
Social support is a direct psychologicalstressand indirectly work on cognitive patterns toward stressful situations, thereby promoting physical health1). However, it has also been noted that the negative aspects of social support have not been considered3).
The concept of social support is related to the concept of social networks. Social support ishuman relationsSocial support comes from members of the network, but not all people in the social network provide support.
