The World Health Organization (WHO) defines quality of life as an individual'slivingIt is defined as being based on an individual's perceptions derived from his or her relationship to personal goals, expectations, standards, and interests in the culture and values in which he or she lives. In addition, more recently, subjective wellbeing (happiness,livingSatisfaction, morale, and self-esteem,self-conceptThe quality of life is also said to be related to the sense of coherence and cohesion.
In quality of life, the level of health from an individual's perspective and daily and sociallivingThe focus on the functioning of the body is called health-related QOL (Health-related QOL). Individuals perceive and expect different things to be important in their lives, and those that focus on the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of what individuals consider important are referred to as IQOL (Individualized QOL).
